Rationale: Classroom Management Philosophy

As a teacher I believe it is my role to create a classroom environment that will promote and embrace a positive learning experience for all of my students. Establishing a classroom management philosophy is a crucial aspect of managing a classroom. My philosophy guides me in establishing procedures, routines, and behavior expectations in order to create a learning environment that engages students, achieves instructional goals, and meets the diverse needs of students.

Rationale: STEP Template

The STEP Template shows my desire and efforts to understand learner needs in order to facilitate instruction. The lessons are differentiated and geared to meet unique learning needs. I work to get to know my students and their backgrounds in order to strategically design their instruction and assessments. I analyze student demographics, environmental factors, and student academic factors in order to meet overall needs. Ultimately, I utilize the contextual data to develop my instructional unit.
